Vuselela Choir

Changing Lives...
One Child at a Time
Rooted in Siswati language, the word vuselela means "to revive” or “to renew.” When spoken, it conveys the idea of transformation.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
In the spirit of renewal, revival, and transformation - VUSELELA is a children's choir from Hazyview, South Africa that was created to uplift communities, restore hope, and inspire faith through music. VUSELELA is open to any student ages 12-18 in Hazyview and the surrounding area.
Performing a mix of traditional South African folk music, Western Christian songs and hymns, as well as original arrangements, VUSELELA reflects the vision of raising up a community in Christ, bringing spiritual awakening, and being a positive influence in the world. The name captures the choir’s mission: to be a powerful voice of revival and unity.
VUSELELA is led by Kevin Brawley, an award winning teacher, choir director, and speaker from Charlotte, NC.
